Enjoy attending Italian-related classes in Baltimore's historic Little Italy. Housed in the former Saint Leo School, Pandola Learning Center offers classes of Italian culture and tradition to adults and children during fall and spring semesters. Various levels of Italian language are taught as well as classes in food, drink, arts, and culture. Many classes to choose from between 1 and 8 weeks; all with affordable fees. Take a look and learn!

FALL 2024 CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

EXPLORATORY ITALIAN
Basic introduction to the Italian language. Learn words, phrases, and basic conversation. Textbook - Italian is Fun.

ADVANCED ITALIAN
Intermediate/Advanced conversation aims to teach Italian language and culture through geography, society, art, language, and history. Students navigate to learn more about the Italy of yesterday and today, using the four main language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The textbook, Nuovo Magari B1/B2, is particularly helpful for Intermediate level students who wish to refresh and improve their skills at a higher level. Only Italian is spoken during class. Grammar will be reviewed.

NEW CLASS! DISCOVER THE SICILIAN DIALECT

LEARN HOW TO PLAY BOCCE
Learn how to play bocce on the courts in Little Italy outside the Little Italy Sons of Italy Lodge. Experienced instructors/players Frank Corazza and Fran Blattermann.

Learn the truth about Christopher Columbus and why he holds a singular place in the hearts of Italian Americans.
