ITALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL
annually in October (gate admission) A celebration starting with Mass at Saint Leo's Church followed by a procession through the neighborhood and a street festival. CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
First Friday in December FREE FAMILY EVENT Visit from Santa Claus, complimentary treats for the kids. Help to decorate our enormous Christmas tree, sing carols with Baltimore Choral Arts Society, and complimentary refreshments, Italian cookies and roasted chestnuts. |

Feast of St. Anthony (June) Feast of St. Gabriele (Aug) (gate admission) Both Saint Leo's summer Italian festivals have been a neighborhood tradition for decades. Expect stage music, dancing in the street, games of chance, Italian food & desserts, vino e birra, bocce tournament, vendors / souvenirs, sit-down pasta dinner, bingo, kids' activities, and camaraderie. Bring the entire family! |
RAVIOLI DINNERS
A yummy homemade Italian meal of pasta with Italian bread and salad. Game wheels, cash bar, used book table, wine bar and vendors. $ Saint Leo's Church has also been hosting CARRYOUT RAVIOLI DINNERS in various months. |
MADONNARI ARTS FEST
annually in September FREE This 3-day cultural event showcases elaborate chalk illustrations created by artists from around the world, directly on the streets of Little Italy. The event is enhanced with Italian food, wine, music, theater and dance in a celebration of the contemporary renaissance of Baltimore’s historical Italian neighborhood. |
